Snow and Ice in Grayling
It’s sure snowing today! We’ve had about 6 inches of snow since this morning, and Diane is out plowing our lot now. Conditions look good, but there is still ice in some corners. Norm, Herb, and Martin reported finding a bit of ice in the corners today and yesterday. It seems that the new snow is not yet sticking down well in the corners. Roosting out of the corner and spraying all the snow off the trail probably doesn’t help, either.
We had another accident yesterday, with a rider hitting a tree at the end of a long straight stretch. The rider was uninjured, but the snowmobile is a little worse for the experience. Be careful out there!
The weather forecast calls for snow and cold temperatures for most of the next week, so it looks like conditions should continue to improve.
