Still Winter, Tall Snowbanks, We Have Insurance!
We’ve been moderately busy and winter continues to chug along in northern Michigan. We’ve had a bit of snow off and on, and still have plenty of snow on the trails. The National Weather Service shows around 28-20 inches of snow cover, but it seemed like more when I was out show-shoeing last week.
Snowbanks
Twice in the past week we’ve had riders go over snowbanks that were perhaps a little too high or extreme, and spill off the machines. The first time 911 was called for a possible back injury, but everyone was fine except for a few bruises. The second time involved a few broken ribs. Be careful out there!
Insurance
We’re now offering collision insurance through MBA Insurance. It’s a $1000 deductible and you’re covered after that. Charge will be around $30 first day / $20 subsequent days, and it’s optional. We’ve been looking for years for this coverage, and are glad we finally found it.
