Need More Snow
Well, it’s not the nicest timing to write this on Christmas Eve, but the trails are getting pretty brown and snirty out there. Today I rode 80 miles, breaking in one of our new machines. Tough job… I rode Grayling – Frederic – Waters – Lakes of the North – Starvation Lake – Frederic – Grayling. Trails were alternating between nice sections, a bit of dirty snow, and the occasional dirty spot to avoid. The Gaylord groomer had been out, but not the Grayling groomers. I imagine they’re waiting for more snow. See photos in this winter’s gallery for details, and a peek at our new sleds.
So hopefully the weather will bring us snow in the next few days, and not freezing rain. I’ts 28 Degrees out right now, though, so it could go either way…
Merry Christmas, everyone!

Hey Rob,
Thanks for the up to the minute trail conditions info with pictures !!! Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays too !!!
Look for me midweek following New Years. I got my fingers crossed for a couple storms between now and then. Probably nothing like the time I came up to 22 inches of fresh snow though…..(a few years back) I was the only one on the trails and no one had even been out yet! What a privelege.
