Not much new snow
Even though there’s been light snow in the forecast every day, we haven’t gotten much since last weekend. The trails have gotten a bit browner with snirt. The groomers are out and there is a bit of traffic. All the riders I’ve talked to have said that the trails are good, dirty snow but not down to dirt anywhere. We do have several inches of snow in the forecast for Friday, so I hope that develops well.
If I was planning a ride anywhere this weekend (which I am), I might head out of town and then off-trail into some of the local army lands, two-tracks, and other off-trail areas (which I will). Just stay out of the open fields so you don’t meet some unexpected stumps and logs.
